Travel in Cardiff this Sunday – Cardiff 10K & Tour of Britain
On Sunday 7th September, two major events take place in Cardiff: the Cardiff 10K in the morning and the Tour of Britain cycling race in the afternoon.
The Tour of Britain route sees cyclists enter the city at Thornhill and race along Thornhill Road, Caerphilly Road and North Road to the city centre, arriving at the city centre at approximately 15:00. The road closures here are for the race itself as well as to allow the supporting infrastructure needed to allow this to pass to be installed and removed.
Because of road closures around the city, some bus routes will be diverted. If you’re travelling with us on Sunday, please allow extra time for your journey.
